In Luxembourg, mums are for graves

November 1st is Toussaint (or Allerhellegen in Luxembourg) — that is, All Saints’ Day. The Expatresse learned that the giant mums that Americans like to put on their doorsteps are <i>only</i> for graves here in Luxembourg. Traditionally, November 2nd was also a holiday in Luxembourg, although it is no longer an official holiday.
